Indonesian Center for Horticulture Research and Development

Indonesia Center for Horticulture Research and Development (Horticultural Research) is one of the research centers under the Board of Agricultural Research and Development, founded in 1994. Horticulture Research and research centers subordinated 4, the Research Center of Plant Vegetables in Lembang West Java, Central Research of Tropical Fruit Crops in Solok West Sumatra, Ornamental Plants Research Center of the mountain West Java, and Plant Research Center of Orange and Fruit SubTropika in Malang in East Java.
Based on the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture No. Completeness 341/Kpts/OT.140/9/2005 of Organization and Administration of the Ministry of Agriculture, Horticultural Research and Development organization structure consists of:

1. Head of Research and Development Center for Horticulture (Dr.Yusdar Hilman, MS)
2. Division of Administration (Head of Department : Ir.Moh.Takdir Mulyadi, MM)
3. Training Program and Evaluation, (Head of Division : Dr. Ir. Nono Sutrisno, Ms)
4. Efficiency Cooperation and Research (Head of Division :  Ir. Sri Sulihanti, MSc)
5. Functional Group

Horticulture Research and Development in charge of 4 (four) Research Center are:

1. Vegetable Crops Research Center (Balitsa) in Lembang, West Java
2. Research Center of Tropical Fruit Crops. (Balitbu Tropical) in Solok, West Sumatra
3. Ornamental Plants Research Center (Balithi) in the mountain, West Java
4. Research Center of Orange and Fruit Crops Subtropika (Balitjestro), in the Tlekung, East Java
