Banana is of agricultural commodities with a total planting area of the broadest, highest production and consumption of most other fruits. Nevertheless, the potential development of banana faced with several obstacles, mainly by the high complex of pests and diseases prevalent in the last three decade mature. Acts as a buffer zone of Jakarta, West Java and Lampung is the largest banana-producing provinces of the first and third in Indonesia. 

This activity aims to:

1. Develop guidance package integrated pest control (IPM) / (PTT) for the management techniques and strategies best banana cultivation research.
2. Solving the research issues important to improving best farming guide.
3. Evaluate and adapt the best crop management guidelines to develop banana production system sustainable and profitable.

This activity is carried out on 22 or 23 Pebruary 2010 in Cianjur regency, while in South Lampung regency on 25 Pebruary 2010.
